Your Initials (Transfers)
Player's Cigarettes - 1932

Notes:  Cards are approximately 1-3/8" x 2-5/8". I hope you weren't expecting
anything really exciting from the list of card titles or numbers!  So I will repeat
the suggestions for transferring the early equivalent of today's "temporary
tatoos." Each card has three decals, using different typefaces.

"For smooth or finely-grained paper, wood or leather: place this transfer in
lukewarm water for about a minute. Remove, lay transfer face downwards in
position and press firmly all over. Slide off paper while still wet; lightly wash
face of initial with tip of finger to remove glaze.

"For coarse-grained materials: trim transfer square, cutting away white paper.
Apply adhesive thinly to initial, place in position and press firmly. When dry,
moisten and remove backing; wash lightly with finger to remove glaze. A thin
coating of varnish renders transfer permanent."
