   Donruss - 1981

Notes:  A card set with no titles, text, or printed checklist -- This was an obvious
attempt to make me do some work!  Because my memory of the series has to go
back to its original showings and not the TNN reruns, I might have misidentified
a couple of characters (it was a large cast!).  But as a bonus, I provide a map of
how the card numbers arrange to form one the large 8x7 puzzles using the card
backs.  There were two variations for the card backs: Puzzle #1 shows J.R. Ewing
with fistfulls of cash and Puzzle #2 shows a group shot of the cast. The different 
cards have either a blue border or a red border. A full "variation set" contains 112 
cards.  Thanks to Lenore Alexakis, Steve Lillard, and Sean Wright for info on the 
variations!  (Yes, some of the puzzle pieces are solid colors and can be interchanged 
with others.  Steve found that you could identify which was intended where by 
noticing that the puzzle maps were the same for the two pictures.)

Box: 36 packs of 7 cards.
Common sets: approx. 4.50 per box if collation were perfect.
Variation sets: approximately 2.25 per box.
