Nasty Tricks Confex / Fun Stuff - 1990
Notes: This one is a bit difficult to show. There are 68 "cards" plus 64 "stickers" in the set. But the "cards" were distributed in packs as two half-size joined cards with a perforation between them. The stickers were distributed as one, two, or three numbered stickers or groups of stickers per normal-size pack insert. I'll call the half-size items "mini-cards," the numbered stickers or sticker groups "stickers," and the full-size card pairs or sticker sheets "items". Collation can be rotten in some of the boxes of packs. I observed 60 different mini-card pairs and 47 different combinations of stickers in my box, and Darrell Warner has found 23 other sticker combinations, if you include variants where the sticker is the same but is rotated 180 degrees. So if we believe the packaging that says "Get all 130", this number could be reached with 60 different mini-card pairs and 70 unique combinations on sticker-cards, or 130 different 2-1/2 by 3-1/2 inch items. On the other hand, it could be found from 66 unique mini-cards and 64 numbered stickers. The first lists below were from where I showed which mini-cards and stickers were found with other items. The mini-cards are not numbered; I assigned a two- or three-letter code to them based on the titles. In the checklist, I show where the mini-card or sticker number is located "first" on the item, and the code or number for the other mini-card or sticker(s) that were on the same two-mini-card item. There are 144 unique "items" if you include rotated and error-number stickers. Darrell provided the second set of lists, with index numbers for each of the 130 observed 2-1/2 by 3-1/2 inch items. That set is probably most useful for people assembling a master set of full-size items, without separating stickers or mini-cards. Thanks also to Maurice for an update!
