Harry Potter Chocolate Frog Cards (Asia) Warner Bros - 2001
Notes: Thanks much to Larry Haynes for the lists and research! These lenticular cards (approximately 3-1/4" x 2"), also called "Aussie" cards (though that name is sometimes applied only to the Type B, or blackish-colour variant), have the same images and general design as the Chocolate Frog Cards issued in the U.K., but can be distinguished by Chinese characters on the card backs. The first series matches the U.K. images, but is seen with two colouring variations. Those variations could have been related to different ink choices for different print runs. The second series does not include the Madam Malkin card found in the second U.K. series, and therefore a complete collection is 30 cards (or 50 cards if the colour variations in the first series are counted).
