Lord of the Rings
Kinder (Germany) - 2003

Notes: Many thanks to Krystyna Mayer, who also provided this commentary: 
Thirty unnumbered, brightly coloured cards, plus one card with text only. Cards 
are a little narrower and taller than the average trading card and have rounded 
corners. Each card has a differently patterned coloured border, the name of the 
featured character in German at the top with its logo on either side, and four 
numbered values in points as given below. Main picture is a photograph of the 
character from the film. Below right is an image of the Kinder figurine; below 
left is a design of a scroll with text in German inside it. Cards are turquoise 
on the reverse, with a background of Middle-earth. This is overlaid with the 
Ring above with 'Der Herr der Ringe' written inside it. Below is the Kinder 
logo of the 'walking egg'.
