   Smithsonian Institution / Club Pro Set - 1992

Notes:  These cards were produced for the Smithsonian and bear its copyright. The 
"Club Pro Set" series comprises a variety of sets, distributed factory sealed in cello-
wrap, primarily for use in schools. Generally three levels were made, with the same 
titles, for different reading levels: "Bronze" for U.S. Kindergarten through 2nd grade; 
"Silver" for 3rd through 5th grades; and "Gold" for 6th through 8th grades. The first 
releases (1992) showed card-back text in a yellow background while subsequent 
printings (1993) had an orange background. Further information on the series is

This series was produced only in 1992 with yellow backs.
