Country Gold Autograph Series
Sterling - 1992

Notes:  We believe that this series was originally planned to be part of the regular 
Country Gold Premiere Edition, because at least one of the cards has been found 
inserted in packs of that series, signed and numbered to 1000. The "usual" form 
of the cards was issued as a factory set, unsigned.
 
Card backs are blank except for the card number and large spaces for the artists to 
sign when the collector would track them down at performances. The photo images 
are different from those in the regular "Country Gold Premiere Edition".  Several of the 
eventually-autographed cards were hand-numbered "x/1000", so many of the sets 
were marketed specifically for sale at performances. Or, possibly these cards were 
signed for use in Premiere Edition, failed to be inserted, and found their way to the 
market by other routes.

The five-card promo set includes cards for both the Autograph Series and the regular 
set, so I list them in both places. Thanks much to Matthew Clark  for the original
